WHAT IS PRF EZGEL?

ezGEL is a 100% autologous and natural injectable gel used to rejuvenate tissue and enhance areas experiencing volume loss.

ezGEL utilizes platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), a concentrated form of growth factors derived from platelets. By using a blood draw sample, a simple heating and cooling process is followed to create an all-natural, injectable gel from the PRF.

WHAT ARE THE AREAS THAT CAN BE TREATED WITH EZGEL?

The most commonly treated areas of the face with EZGEL include: temples, tear troughs (undereyes), cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, perioral, lips, chin, and jawline. Other treatment areas include the scalp for hair loss and acne scars.

HOW LONG DOES ONE EZGEL TREATMENT TAKE?

An EZGEL treatment is typically scheduled as a 60-minute appointment. The blood draw and steps to create the EZGEL take up the initial 30 minutes of the appointment. The remaining time during the appointment is used for injections.

HOW MANY EZGEL TREATMENTS ARE RECOMMENDED?

It is best to speak with your provider regarding your aesthetic goals but 2-3 treatments on average are recommended. The first two treatments are scheduled ideally four weeks apart. The third treatment is done months later.

WHAT PRE- AND POST-CARE IS REQUIRED FOR EZGEL TREATMENTS?

Pre-care: Avoid alcohol for 48 hours to decrease the risk of bruising.

For a full post-treatment plan, please refer to your patient portal (which you gain access to after your initial appointment). A quick run-down of post-care includes:

• Do not touch the treatment area
• Avoid makeup application for 4 hours post-treatment

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO SEE RESULTS FROM MY EZGEL TREATMENT?

Improvements in texture, tone, and elasticity can typically be seen within a few weeks after the first treatment. Optimal results can be seen six months after the third treatment. It is important to speak with your provider regarding maintenance treatments.
